Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of editor-mate, operated by Medai Ltd (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to them.
What we sell
editor-mate sells prepaid credit packs for AI photo editing. Each credit lets you run one edit (Enhance, Colorize or Black & White) on one photo. Packs are one-time payments in US dollars; there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
Credits
- Every press of Generate uses one credit, including running the same photo again.
- New accounts start with zero credits.
- If an edit fails, the credit is returned to your account automatically.
- Credits do not expire, have no cash value and cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, except as described in our Refund Policy.
Your photos
You may only upload photos you own or have the right to edit. You keep all rights to your photos and to the results. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only to provide the service. We delete originals and results automatically after 30 days.
Prohibited content
You must not upload content that:
- is illegal, or that you do not have the right to use (for example someone else’s copyrighted work);
- contains nudity or sexual content;
- depicts minors in any sexual or exploitative context;
- is used to harass, defame, impersonate or deceive another person.
We may refuse to process such content, remove it, and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
AI-generated results
Results are produced by automated AI models. Colors added by Colorize are a plausible reconstruction, not a record of the original colors, and enhanced detail may not match reality exactly. Results may contain errors and are provided “as is”. Please review them before relying on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login details safe. You can delete your account at any time from Account → Settings. We may place an account on hold in cases of suspected fraud, chargebacks or abuse.
Disputes
If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@editor-mate.io — most issues can be solved quickly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled by the competent courts of the place where Medai Ltd is registered, unless the law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings there.
Changes
We may update these terms. If changes are significant we will tell you by email or on the site before they take effect.
