Privacy Policy
editor-mate is operated by Medai Ltd, the controller of your personal data. This policy explains what personal data editor-mate collects, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account email.
- Photos: the photos you upload and the results we produce. Location (GPS) data is removed from photos when they are processed.
- Payments: a record of each purchase (pack, amount, date, Stripe reference). Card details are entered on Stripe’s checkout page and are stored only by Stripe — we never see or store your full card number.
- Usage: a log of credit use and basic technical data (such as IP address and browser) needed to run and secure the service.
How photos are processed
To edit a photo we send it to an AI processing provider, which returns the result to us. Providers act on our instructions and may not use your photos for their own purposes. We never use your photos to train AI models.
Photos are stored in private storage and can only be viewed by you through short-lived links. Originals and results are deleted automatically 30 days after upload.
Why we use your data
- to provide the service you asked for (contract);
- to process payments and keep accounting records (legal obligation);
- to prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interest).
Cookies
We use only essential cookies that keep you logged in, protect your session and remember your language. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete it. You can delete your account and all photos yourself in Account → Settings, or email support@editor-mate.io for a data export. We reply within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept as long as tax law requires.
